Mission

AFBM operates as a fundamental, independent Missions Agency for worldwide military evangelism.
We are a local church ministry of Good News Baptist Church, Chesapeake, vA. AFBM unites with sending and supporting churches to love, lead, teach, train and sustain their appointed and commissioned missionaries as they plant churches and start military service centers to reach men and women in uniform and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Vision

Planting Churches at Home and Abroad

Where there is a need, AFBM seeks to start local independent, fundamental Baptist churches near military bases both at home and on the foreign field for the purpose of reaching the military for Christ, edifying believers in the faith, and increasing the worldwide missionary outreach of the local church.

Starting Military Service Centers Near Bases

Starting Military Service Centers under local church authority near bases assists churches both at home and abroad in developing a military evangelistic outreach. They are an ideal means to reach young, single military men and women with the Gospel of Christ. The Military Center becomes their “Home Away From Home” as they seek a loving Christian atmosphere and discipleship program to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.

Ministering To Those In Veterans Homes & Hospitals

A further effective ministry of AFBM involves reaching the veterans who have served our nation in past wars and conflicts. It is our desire to assist pastors in fundamental, independent Baptist churches near veterans’ homes & hospitals to develop an active military evangelistic outreach to these dear veterans who are dying at a rate of 1100 a day.
