Armed Forces Baptist Missions is on a worldwide quest for the souls of men and women in uniform and their families.

The United States has 515 Department of Defense military bases and installations around the globe. Over 300 are major bases that have 10,000 to over 300,000 active duty service members, reservists and military dependents residing on and around the base. The neighborhoods near these bases are also full of veterans and retirees. Our Department of Defense boasts of a mobilization force of over five million uniformed personnel. In addition, all 227 countries in the world have some sort of security or military force ranging from a few hundred to millions. This is our mission field.

These service personnel are on their country’s "front line of defense" and could be called upon at any moment to fight and perhaps die for their country to keep it free from rouge nation states or oppression. Likewise, we at AFBM are on the "offense" to set those in uniform free from sin through the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is our desire to reach military men and women and their families for Christ and disciple them in accordance with our Lord’s Great Commission. We do this by sponsoring local church missionaries whom God has called to join us in our quest for souls of military men and women around the world.

We continually seek for additional laborers to sow the seed of the gospel of Christ in these fields ripe unto harvest, as we cannot do this alone. Great opportunities lie ahead for godly men and women who have a heart for the military and who have been called to serve our Lord in the military mission fields.
